Settling monitoring
Record interface evolution under documented sample and preparation conditions. Comparing tests requires knowledge of water, reagent, mixing and material.
Water and solids monitoring
The documentation covers measurement in watercourses and grit chambers. Interpreting turbidity and its relationship to concentration requires specific calibration.
Thickening assessment
Analyse process samples and compare them with thickener trends. The test alone does not measure the inventory of the entire unit or demonstrate additional water recovery.
What must be validated
Acceptable material, sample quality, repeatability, effective frequency, environmental conditions and maintenance are agreed for the configuration under evaluation.
